Creating Action Tables

You can use Tables to show if and how many open Tasks exist on the listed objects. These Tables are called Action Tables. For further information on Tasks, please see Involve business users with Tasks. You have two options to set up an Action Table:

YAML Code

Position in YAML Code of the Table

Description

How it will look in the Business View

<RECORD_NAME>_TASK_COUNT_GEN

data:
  columns:
  - field: INVOICE.INVOICE_BELNR
  - field: INVOICE.TASK_COUNT_GEN

Adding this ID automatically generates an attribute in a new column that counts all Tasks on this record that are currently OPEN or IN PROGRESS.

showTasks: true

data:
  columns:
  - field: INVOICE.INVOICE_BELNR
    showTasks: true

This will show the number of Tasks on top of an attribute on the record that the attribute belongs to.

If you want to be able to filter the Action Table on the Assignee, add this configuration:

YAML Code

Position in YAML Code of the Table

Description

taskAssigneeFilter: true

options:
  taskAssigneeFilter: true

It will allow you to filter the Tasks on their Assignee.
