Update to a New Version

Download the newest version of the Agent and go through the manual step-by-step guide (see above).

When updating from below v0.4.4 to v0.4.4 or higher

If starting the agent as a Windows service: Make sure the SAP NW RFC SDK is added to the Path system environmental variable

As described on the page Connecting to SAP, for an agent running as a windows service, the sap-lib/lib folder needs to be added to the Path system environmental variable (as selected in the middle screenshot).

This will register a new Agent in your team.

Note: Don't forget to stop your old Agent (e.g. if you are using task scheduler) after you have moved everything to the new version.

(Re-)Configure the Agent

After installing the Agent, you can (re-)configure the Agent for specific setups instead of rerunning the complete installation for small changes. The workflow can be found here in order to rename the agent or set limit for concurrent executions.
