Work with Jira right from the Celonis Process Automation

Jira is a proprietary issue tracking product developed by Atlassian that allows bug tracking and agile project management.

Supported Actions

Celonis Process Automation currently supports the following actions for Jira (server):

Connection

Add a new connection by signing in with Jira credentials OR select "Set connection before execution" to allow users to sign in with their own credentials on the execution page.

Celonis Agent

Jira (server) Actions need the Celonis Agent for setting up the connection.

Before executing an Action, the Celonis Agent has to be configured. For more information please refer to Celonis Agent.

Create Issue
Action configuration
  1. Agent (required): Select the agent instance you would like to use to execute the action.

  2. Connection (required): Add your Username and Password for Jira

  3. Project Key (required): identification key of the project

  4. Issue Type (required): type of the issue

  5. Summary (required): summary of the Jira issue

  6. Description (optional): add optional description to the issue

  7. Priority (optional): set the priority 1 being the highest

  1. Agent (required): Select the agent instance you would like to use to execute the action.

  2. Connection (required): Add your Username and Password for Jira

  3. Issue ID or Key (required): Identification key of the issue

Action configuration
  1. Agent (required): Select the agent instance you would like to use to execute the action.

  2. Connection (required): Add your Username and Password for Jira

  3. Issue Key (required): Insert the identification key of the issue

  4. Comment (required): Define your comment

System connection (Celonis Agent)
  1. System connection name (required)

  2. Host (required)

  3. Port (required)
