Log UI Components

Starting from the top left of the UI going to the right:

  1. UI Page title and info icon (The info icon explains important information about the UI).

  2. Enable login history toggle - This feature if enabled will toggle on and off the login history feature in its entirety. As this feature tracks and shows Pii data from users related to their login behaviour this feature allows the admin to have control inline with their GDPR needs. Note: This feature also controls both on and off for the user adoption preferences feature as that is simply a visual view of this login history data.

  3. Search - This allows for key word search in the email and event type columns.

  4. Export as CSV - This will allow for the full export of login history data since it was enabled. This is not limited to the last 500 enteries as the UI is.

  5. Delete login history logs older than.... - This feature allows the admin to set a time frame for when logs should be deleted so the admin can align to their GDPR needs. The default is "No Deletion".

  6. Delete audit logs older than.... - This feature allows the admin to set a time frame for when logs should be deleted so the admin can align to their GDPR needs. The default is "No Deletion".

  7. Email address - Email of the user.

  8. Date - The date column stores when the action occurred.

  9. Event Type - The event type tells you what action was done.

  10. Success - The success column tells you if the action was successful or not.

How to delete all the login history?

In order to delete the login history please toggle off the feature login history and then click "Delete History"

Note

You can also use the deletion dropdown to select a periodic timeframe for deletion.

How does SSO affect the login history?

Login history works with SSO, but only for successful login events. The reason is that failed login attempts fail at the identity provider and thus this information never reaches the Celonis EMS. Usually, identity providers come with their own login logging system. This history should also contain failed login attempts.
