Setup and Effort Required

The table below shows the typical project members required to implement the use case. Please note that the effort for the IT contact only applies initially (if no automation use case has been implemented before) and is required to set up the SAP integration package (i.e. the real-time extractor and on-premise Celonis Agent for executing automations). The Data Scientist role can either be filled by the customer, or by a partner or Celonis PMC. We recommend that the first automation use case is implemented by a partner or Celonis PMC.

Timeline and Milestones

It is strongly recommended that the project team agrees with the customer on a timeline for the major project milestones, provided below, prior to the use case implementation. As the human effort needed for use case implementation is very low, this is primarily a matter of alignment and commitment from the business and IT executive teams.
