What is the difference between Usage Permissions and Data Permissions?

Usage Permissions: Defines which user can use the data model to create an object that uses it, e.g. an analysis in Process Analytics or a skill in Action Engine. The usage permission is only relevant for applying the data model to an object - it does not affect the usage of the data model though an object that is already linked to the data model (by someone else). The latter is possible without "usage" permissions on the data model. Therefore, viewers of an analysis do not need to be "users" of a data model. For more information on Usage Permissions, see Data Integration Permissions.

Data Permissions: Controls the access of users to specific entries based on rule sets on dimensions when querying data from the data model - independent of whether the user can create new objects with the data model or whether the user is just a viewer.
