Platform Adoption Monitor app
The Platform Adoption Monitor app gives you insights into who is accessing and using your Celonis team and how this usage varies over time. The app uses public Celonis APIs to extract data every hour about team members logging in and users opening Studio apps and packages, and presents the statistics in a set of monitoring views.
The Platform Adoption Monitor app is an enhanced replacement for the platform adoption dashboard in Admin & Settings, which was only available to admins in Celonis teams (see Platform adoption dashboard). If you’re using the platform adoption dashboard, we recommend you install the app, which has more detailed statistics and the improved functionality of the new Studio experience.
With the Platform Adoption Monitor app, you can:
Monitor how often users log into the Celonis team. By default, the app pseudonymizes the identifiers for individual users. You can include or exclude Celonis employees from the statistics.
See how often each of the Studio apps in the Celonis team is opened by business users. You can see which objects are used and how often over a period of time, and see which objects individual users are accessing. The app can’t track how long users spend in a view or analysis, or which tabs they open.
See how often each of your published Studio packages is opened by analysts. You can see the frequency of use over a period of time, and see which assets individual users are accessing and how often. The logs used by the app don’t collect information on draft packages or on product areas outside Studio and Apps, such as Task Mining or Action Flows.
Change the time period for the statistics, and filter them by user groups, user roles, Studio spaces, Studio packages, assets, or folders.
You can give any users in your Celonis team permission to see views that they’re interested in, so they can also see how the Celonis Platform and its apps are being used. You can also edit the views, or create your own platform adoption tracking views based on the case-centric data model we supply for the app. If you want to edit the views, we recommend you make a copy of the app package and make your customizations in there instead.
Important
Before you set up the app, check whether your local legislation or company policy allows you to collect login and application access data on individual users, and whether you’re required to pseudonymize this data before it’s displayed. By default, the Platform Adoption Monitor app will pseudonymize the email addresses that are used as identifiers for individual users.
