Prerequisites for the Sailfin Accounts Receivable app suite
Here’s what you’ll need to do before you set up any of the apps in the Sailfin Accounts Receivable app suite:
Talk to your Celonis account team to arrange the licensing fee for each app you’re going to set up, and the implementation efforts from Celonis Services.
Set up a Data Connection to your source system (for example, SAP or Oracle).
Check that the Celonis user account you’ll be using to set up the Sailfin Accounts Receivable app suite has administrator permissions in the Celonis team, including permission to create data pools, data models, and application keys.
Check that you have an available slot for a Machine Learning Workbench application in the Celonis Platform. To check your slots, go to Data > Machine Learning > All Workspaces. If there isn’t a free slot, talk to your Celonis point of contact to arrange to purchase another slot and increase the limit.
Open a Service Desk ticket for the Celonis Accounts Receivable product team, to get the zip file with the Python scripts for the Machine Learning Workbench application, and the instructions to set up the application.
If you’re using the Credit Management app and you want to integrate credit bureau data, you’ll need the user credentials for the service. The app can work without this data.
Open a Service Desk ticket to activate the following items in the backend for your Celonis team:
Intelligence API (“intelligence-api” flag) for sharing Knowledge Model KPIs with Sailfin.
Data Export from Compute permission (the “data-export-from-compute” flag) for data export permissions.
Ask your Celonis point of contact (Account Executive or Value Engineer) to get the Sailfin app environment provisioned for you in the Salesforce cloud (force.com) with assistance from the product team.
For case-centric process mining, discuss with your Celonis consultant whether you want to use the advanced priority calculation, which is carried out by a Machine Learning Workbench script, or the basic priority calculation, which is carried out by a data job. The default is the advanced priority calculation, so if you prefer to use the data job, you’ll need to disable the Machine Learning Workbench script and enable the data job. For object-centric process mining, only the basic priority calculation is available.
For case-centric process mining, follow the steps in Setting up the case-centric data pipeline for the Sailfin Accounts Receivable app suite to get your source system data into the data pool.
For object-centric process mining, follow the steps in Setting up the object-centric data pipeline for the Sailfin Accounts Receivable app suite to get your source system data into the data pool.
If you need to get help with any of the app’s prerequisites or setup steps, ask your Celonis point of contact (Account Executive or Value Engineer), or raise a Service Desk ticket as explained in Contacting Support.
