Installing the case-centric GR/IR Reconciliation app

You can download the GR/IR Reconciliation app from the Celonis Marketplace. Before you install the app, you’ll need to set up the appropriate data foundation, as explained in Prerequisites for the case-centric GR/IR Reconciliation app. When you’ve done that, follow these steps to install the GR/IR Reconciliation app:

  1. Open the Celonis Marketplace from the Celonis navigation menu, and enter "GR/IR Reconciliation" in the Marketplace search.

  2. Select the GR/IR Reconciliation app to see its information page.

  3. Select Request Access to request the app. Your request is forwarded to the product team. They’ll need 1-2 business days to validate your request with your account team, then they’ll give you access to the app. When you get the email notification, go back to the Celonis Marketplace and click Get it now to download the app.

  4. In Celonis, choose a Studio space to install the app in. You can use an existing Studio space or create a new one. (You can move the app after installation.) Click Confirm to proceed with the installation.

  5. In the Studio overview, find the GR/IR Reconciliation app package in the space where you installed it, and click its tile to go to the app package.

  6. Click the Package Settings icon (the box) and select Variables.

  7. Select the Assign Data Model button, then search or browse for the Data Model “SAP ECC - GR/IR Reconciliation”, and click to select it. Click Save to set the Data Model variable.

  8. The GR/IR Reconciliation app needs publishing before you configure it, to create the augmentation tables. Click the Publish button at the top of any of the screens in your Studio space to publish a version of the app.

  9. Open the app's Setup & Validation view and work through the steps to configure and customize your app. Because the app is already published, you’ll need to do this in both Studio and Apps. Changing the settings in Studio after publishing doesn’t affect the values in Apps. In the Setup & Validation view, you can:

    • Configure basic settings like the currency or date format.

    • Define the scope by including or excluding certain company codes, general ledger accounts, or document types.

    • Classify documents according to transaction type, document type and delivery costs, to ensure that balances, categories, and types are accurately displayed in the app.

    • Review and validate the purchase and accounting data in scope.

  10. If you’ve made any changes to the app’s views or directly in the Knowledge Model, publish another version of the app.
