Annotation Builder
The Annotation Builder is an AI-enhanced asset in Studio that is used to enrich the data in the Process Intelligence Graph (PI Graph) using Large Language Models (LLMs) to interpret the data and process that data using natural language guidelines like a human. Unlike traditional automation software that relies on strict rules, LLMs can manage tasks requiring real-time decision-making and common-sense error correction, which traditional systems struggle with.
Using an Annotation Builder allows you to work with the unstructured data that exists within your source systems. This unstructured data contains valuable information that can be used to improve your processes but manually inspecting this data is difficult and time-consuming. The Annotation Builder creates annotations by converting the unstructured text from your existing data into structured data that is integrated within the Knowledge Model. An Annotation Builder allows you analyze this data and gain new insights to your processes.
This new level of understanding allows you to leverage your LLMs to act as intelligent assistants. An Annotation Builder can process and interpret your data, apply reason to the data it was given access to, and make informed decisions based on the instructions you provided. Using the data you assign as inputs and the rules you set during configuration, the Annotation Builder is able to ascertain which pieces of information to take action on.
