Former Skill functionalities

It is possible to write back data to a certain table in Action Flows. Right now it is not implemented as a specific module but we provide this template to make it as easy as possible for you to write back the data.

We strongly recommend to use the own SMTP server or an email integration as outlook. Nevertheless you can send emails by celonis with a combination of a Skill and Action Flow using a bridge. This template provides all the information you need to set that up. Be aware of the limit of 100 mails when using it.

It is possible to send recipient specific data via mail within one Action Flow using the Celonis Action Get Assignee and leveraging our Assignment Rules. Find a template on how to do it here.

If your desired application is not on the list of supported apps by Action Flows, you can still check whether the app offers public APIs to perform certain automations. We provide some generic modules like HTTP, SOAP and Webhooks to connect to different systems. Have a look at our academy course on how to work with the HTTP module.

We provide different templates for different use cases. Check them out here. On each page there is a section called 'possible use cases' where you can get even more ideas.

Please omit quotes in Aliases (using “ ” causes problems as it get treated like PQL, use ‘ ’ instead)

Celonis On-Prem Agent

Find the documentation here.

For Action Flows and Skills, different Agent versions are required. But they can run side-by-side.

Find more information about the Action Flow Agent and the Skill Agent on those pages.

The Agent is needed to connect to on-prem systems. Currently available on-prem app integrations can be found here.

Please check out our troubleshooting page for the most frequently occurring error during installation. The page includes both hints for the old on-prem Agent for Skills as well as for the new on-prem Agent for Action Flows.

If you use windows you can use the installer to update your Agent, find detailed instructions here (scroll down to the section 'Update to a new Version'). If you use MacOS or Linux or want to do it manually check out the instructions here (scroll down to the section 'Update to a new Version').

Yes, one Agent can be used for multiple systems. The only prerequisite is that the systems are reachable, this means that they have to be in the same network.
