Prerequisites for the object-centric Payment Terms Optimizer app

Before you set up the object-centric Payment Terms Optimizer app, you’ll need to enable and configure the Accounts Receivable process from the Celonis catalog. Load the object-centric data model with your data, and validate that it’s all working in the standard Accounts Receivable perspective. Then publish it to the production environment.

Note

The Payment Terms Optimizer app is designed to work with SAP ECC out of the box. If your source data is in an Oracle system, ask your Celonis point of contact to connect you with the Business Apps team for help configuring the app.

In SAP ECC, master data payment terms for the order-to-cash process are stored in multiple customer structures, such as customer profiles at the company code and sales organization levels. You’ll need to check your data jobs against the list of required tables and columns, and add any columns you aren’t already extracting. Required tables and fields for SAP ECC explains how.

To support the app, you’ll need to create the custom object type MasterPaymentTerms, add the transformation for it, and extend the Celonis catalog Accounts Receivable perspective to add it. You’ll also need to add custom attributes and relationships to the Celonis object types CustomerAccountDebitItem and SalesOrderItem, with transformations. Extending the Accounts Receivable process with payment terms tells you how.

If you need to get help with any of the app’s prerequisites or setup steps, Support tells you how.

Required tables and fields for SAP ECC

Here’s how to check that you’re extracting the required data from SAP ECC for master data payment terms, and add any missing columns.

  1. In the Celonis navigation menu, select Data > Data Integration.

  2. Select the data pool where you’re working with objects and events.

  3. Select Data Jobs, and navigate to the data scope of your SAP ECC source system.

  4. Select the data job CCDM - Full Extraction, and the extraction Extract Tables: SAP Connector (Full Load).

  5. Click Table Configuration, search for the tables listed in the table below and select Configure to view the columns. If any of the columns are missing, check them to add them to the extraction.
