Configuring settings for the object-centric Contract Leakage - SAP (Catalog 3) app
Use the Contract Leakage - SAP (Catalog 3) app’s Setup & Validation view:
In the Settings and Scope tab, you can change the currency variable, which defaults to euros (EUR), you can so define the scope of the app (if you would like for only active PRs to be included or all PRs and you define a mininum net unit price to exclude dummy placeholders for the app’s logic.
In the Define and Validate tab, you can set up the SLA threshold, analyze the open/close status classification, and validate contract recommendations.
In the Setup Contract Recommendations, you can adapt the contract recommendation logic to your liking:
Recommendation Scope: Toggle between including only valid contracts or including all active and deleted records.
Minimum Net Unit Price: Set a specific price floor at the contract level that a recommendation must meet to be displayed.
Validity Filter: Choose to restrict recommendations to currently valid contracts or extend them to include expired ones.
Selection Priority: Define if the system should prioritize Price or Validity.
Note
If you prioritize Price while allowing all contracts, the system may rank an expired contract higher than an active one if the cost is lower.
In the Validate Contract Recommendations, you can validate recommendation for both Requisitions and Orders.
Important
Important: After you publish an app for the first time, changing variable values in the Setup & Validation view in Studio doesn’t change their values in Apps. The Contract Leakage - SAP (Catalog 3) app needs to be published right away to initialize the augmented attributes. So you’ll need to work with the views in the Apps area in order for the values of the settings to be applied for end users. It’s best to keep the two sets of variable values in sync so that your results in Studio match those in Apps
Here’s how to work with the Setup & Validation view and Settings view in Apps:
In the Celonis navigation menu, select Apps.
Find the Contract Leakage - SAP (Catalog 3) app in the space where you installed it, and click its title.
Select the Setup & Validation view if you want to be guided through the setup process.
Update the values of any variables that you need to. If you haven’t selected a value, the app is using the default value.
When you’ve finished configuring the settings, make the same changes to the settings in the Studio package for the app, to keep them in sync.
Tip
When you’ve finished setup and the app is in use by business users, to avoid accidental changes, consider limiting the availability of the Setup and Validation and Settings views. You could restrict these to a specific group of business users who are responsible for making adjustments to the variable values.
