Package Level Variable Updates
Data Model Variables

There are two data models in the Standard Data Connector. One data model contains all the AR Invoices and the other contains only open (unpaid) items. You need to configure both data models as a variable in the package:

  1. Click the New variable button and then select “Data Model”.

  2. Define the variable keys and their values as follows:

    1. Key: accounts-receivable-data-model

Value: Select the “Accounts Receivable Data Model” data model from the Process Connector you installed during the Data Pool Set Up.

    2. Key: accounts-receivable-data-model-open-items

Value: Select the “Accounts Receivable Data Model (Open Items)” data model from the Process Connector that you installed during the Data Pool Set Up.

Plain Text Variables

Plain text variables cannot be packaged, so you will need to manually create these variables after installing the application using the following steps:

  1. Click the New variable button and then select “Plain Text Value”.

  2. Define the variable keys and their values:

    1. Key: group_currency

Value: Group currency of the customer, such as “EUR” (without quotation marks). This can be dynamically updated at any time via the dropdowns/buttons inside the app or by updating these package variable settings.

    2. Key: exchange_rate_type

Value: The exchange rate type you used for the currency conversion in the data transformations, e.g. “M” or “EURX” (without quotation marks).

    3. Key: date_format

Value: Steering View will show date in format given in this variable, e.g. “%Y-%m-%d” or “%d-%m-%Y” (without quotation marks).

    4. Key: datetime_format

Value: Steering View will show datetime in format given in this variable, e.g. “%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S” (without quotation marks).

    5. Key: knowledge_model_key

Value: Application will use this variable to access the Augmented Attribute, e.g. “ar-collections.ar-collection-open-items” (without quotation marks).

    6. Key: knowledge_model_key_full

Value: Application will use this variable to access the Augmented Attribute, e.g. “ar-collections.ar-collections-km-full” (without quotation marks).

    7. Key: use_split_dm

Value: This variable decides whether or not you use a split data model. Only two possible values: Yes Or No. Value is Yes if you use Split DM.

Once you have configured all the variables of the app, you have to publish the package so that it will be visible to the Business Users.
