Installing the End-To-End Lead Times app

The End-To-End Lead Times app works with objects and events created for object-centric process mining. The app requires the Inventory Management perspective that’s supplied with our object-centric data model. Before you set up the End-To-End Lead Times app, you’ll need to load the object-centric data model with your data and validate the Inventory Management perspective. To get started with object-centric process mining, see Object-centric process mining overview.

You can download the End-To-End Lead Times app from the Celonis Marketplace. When you link the End-To-End Lead Times app to the Inventory Management perspective, it uses the objects and events that you’ve already built from your source system data and stored in the OCPM Data Pool. You don’t have to create a new data connection.

Follow these steps to install the End-To-End Lead Times app:

  1. Open the Celonis Marketplace from the Celonis Platform navigation bar, and enter "lead times" in the Marketplace search.

  2. Select the End-To-End Lead Times app to see its information page.

  3. Select Get it now to install the app. There's no data connector to download for the app, because it uses the data that's already in the OCPM Data Pool.

  4. In Celonis Platform, choose a Studio Space to install the app in. You can use an existing Studio Space or create a new one. Click Confirm to proceed with the installation.

  5. Click Assign perspective when the app prompts you. This takes you to the Variables tab on the Settings screen. Choose the object-centric Inventory Management perspective.

    Tip

If you need to select the perspective at a later time, you can find the variables by following the instructions in the next step, or in the topic Editing variables for the End-To-End Lead Times app.

  6. Choose the target currency for displaying monetary values in the app’s views. The default is euros. To change this, change the value of the "currency" Knowledge Model variable.

You'll need ANALYST or ADMIN permissions to edit the variable. Here's how to get to it:

    1. In the Celonis Platform navigation menu, select Studio.

    2. Find the End-To-End Lead Times app in your Studio Space navigation.

    3. Expand the app’s structure using the twisty, then expand the Knowledge Model folder.

    4. Select the Variables section of the visual editor to see a list of the Knowledge Model's variables.

    5. To change the value of the "currency" variable, click its row to open an editor.

      Tip

When you specify the currency, use the ISO 4217 currency code such as EUR for euros, USD for US dollars, or GBP for the British pound, rather than symbols like "$" or "€".

    6. After editing the variable's value, click Save.

  7. Validate that the app views are working correctly and displaying your data. If the object-centric Inventory Management perspective has been loaded, they should be working. If you need to make any changes to the app’s variables, follow the instructions in Editing variables for the End-To-End Lead Times app.

  8. Publish a version of the End-To-End Lead Times app package. There's a Publish Package button at the top of all the screens in your Studio Space.

If you have added any customizations to the Celonis object types used in the Inventory Management perspective, they won’t cause problems for the End-To-End Lead Times app, but it also won’t do anything with them out of the box. If you want to include any custom fields in the app’s views, or if you want to make any other changes to the supplied views, follow the instructions in Editing views for the End-To-End Lead Times app.

To use the app views, in the Celonis Platform navigation bar, go to Apps, and select the End-To-End Lead Times app. Using the End-To-End Lead Times app tells you how to analyze and act on your processes with the app.
