Connecting to SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
You can connect your SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA instances to the Celonis Platform using a dedicated on-premise connector. This connection ensures a continuous data pipeline between your SAP systems and the Celonis Platform. After the pipeline components are set up and the connection is established, users can schedule extraction jobs and fetch the data from SAP tables.

When setting up the connection between your SAP source systems and the Celonis Platform, the following steps are needed:
One-time extraction from SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA
While we recommend that you create a continuous connection between the Celonis Platform and SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA, you can also perform a one-time data extraction from these systems. This involves creating and executing an ABAP report (a GUI program) that runs directly in your SAP system to create CSV files.
